We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the contract to provide the University of Brighton with our Identity and Access Management solution Able+ Cloud.
The project involves implementing a solution that consistently identifies c93,000 users, enabling them to securely access the correct resources for their role. This includes integration with O365 and other prominent apps and will provide multi-factor authentication and B2C capabilities.
We’ve worked hard to ascertain current infrastructure and future objectives and will offer the flexibility of a hybrid hosting solution.
Dawn, CEO, New Era Technology UK says: ‘We are delighted to be working with the University of Brighton on their Identity and Access strategy. Our extensive knowledge of the education sector means we can quickly assess their current infrastructure, understand the complex issues around roles and permissions and help determine their future IAM needs. By implementing Able+ cloud they will be utilising a robust, secure solution, which allows the university the flexibility they need to fulfil the IAM needs of the C93,000 students and staff.’’
The University wanted to replace legacy systems and move to an agile and SaaS based solution in driving its digital strategy, security and user experience. This is highly cost effective and reduce significant overheads and infrastructure and hardware related costs whilst providing the latest in IAM related services.
Stephen Dudderidge, University of Brighton Registrar and Secretary says: The University is pleased to be working with New Era Technology to provide a state of the art identity management system enhancing the experience we give to students, staff, and associates. The new system will provide the technologies and processes to allow people to simply, securely, and flexibly access the right resources for their role. This will allow us to improve further the service we provide to all those who interact with the University.
